Today’s free tutorial will give you a quick lesson on how to make a simple mountain range for your background.  This is a wonderful background for the tree image in the Delicate Forest Stampin’ Up! stamp set.  The images in the stamp set are solid images that are perfect to create silhouettes in your scenes.  This can make a quick card that looks like you spent hours on it.  That always makes me happy!

Stampin’ Up! Spotlight on Nature Butterfly Card

Hello stamping friends,

Today I created this fun background for the beautiful butterfly image from the popular Spotlight on Nature stamp set from Stampin’ Up!  I used the easy plastic wrap technique, the Opal Rounds Assortment pack and a lovely color combo to create a bit of a bubbling brook scene for the butterfly to play in.  This is one of the 4 exclusive tutorials for my customers this month.  See below how easy it is to get them.

On another note, did you have one of those fun kaleidoscopes to look through when you were little, looked like a little telescope and when you turned one end it made all kinds of beautiful designs?  That is what today’s card reminds me of.  I used the beautiful new Spotlight on Nature stamp set and dies bundle for this project.  I love the stand alone dies set.  Even if you don’t pick up the stamp set, the dies are a must have!  I would suggest picking them both up though,  grin, because you are going to want them both.
