Hello Stampers,

There is just something about a scene with silhouette images in it.  I love how the dark images makes the sky/water glow.  I achieved the smooth blended look of the background ink colors for this project using the Stampin’ Up! Blending Brushes, they are awesome!  If you haven’t tried them you will definitely want to.

Doesn’t the colors in this card just make you happy?  I love the color combo of Blue, Yellow and Orange, so bright and cheerful!

Faux Tooled Leather Medallion – Stampin’ Up! Card

Hello Stampers,

Today I’m playing with the look of Faux Tool Leather using the new Stampin’ Up! Treasured Medallion stamp set, 154437.  You can certainly take the beautiful medallion image in this set and color away.  I choose to add color to just a few areas of the design and emboss the panel.  This gives the wonderful textured look of tooled leather, I can image this design on a horse’s saddle for sure.

Springtime Joy – Stampin’ Up! Card

Hello Stampers,

Doesn’t the new Stampin’ Up! Springtime Joy stamp set just make you go “awe.” Check out this little lamb with her poofy fur, love it!

The images in this set are so darling and they are unmistakably Spring!  I’m ready for it, aren’t you?  We haven’t even had a rough Winter so far weather wise but, I’m yearning for warm weather and Spring flowers.

I think this lamb, chick and flower images would also make a super cute Welcome Baby card as well.  There is plenty of room on the top of this card to put one of the cute sentiments.  I left mine without a sentiment for now, just until I know who will be the recipient.

I’m chilling this morning in my craft room and decided to make a bit of a collage card using a stencil from the Stampin’ Up! Basic Pattern Decorative Masks pack, 150697.  Layering color with this stencil creates such a beautiful background for the images from the Stampin’ Up! Friends are like Seashells, 154368 and Very Versailles, item 149275.  These two stamp sets are perfect together!
