I love gardening, even though I don’t have a green thumb. You need to be a pretty tough cookie (plant) to live in my garden. I also, love garden themed cards. I like cards with flowers on them, but I want to see the pots they are in, lol. I also love old pots, not the new and shine ones. I guess the old pots have that secret garden feel, do you know what I mean?
My card today using the new Basket of Blooms stamp set, 153305 is SWEET, in my opinion. I gave this card an over all old mossy feel for that secret garden touch.

I hope your holiday weekend was a good one. Did you get to see fireworks?
Russ and I headed to our backyard when it got dark on the evening of the 4th and boy oh boy, did our neighbors put on a firework show, it was great. We live in a rural community, lots of farm land and people are not shy about making noise around here. I think the fireworks have been going off for about a week prior to the holiday as well.

I love, love, love the great outdoors. I’m the biggest tree hugger you have ever seen. What about you? Are you a camper or a glamper? Or do you love to view the great outdoors from you hotel room balcony?

I created a watery background for the images from the Whale Done stamp set by laying sponged blue and green inks. Using the die cut shapes from the Stitched Nested Labels Dies adds the look of an aquarium window. Top it off with the reversible ribbon and Whale of a Time Designer Series Paper. What a great ocean card you have then!

I’m going to say this card would be a great masculine card. Don’t get me wrong, it could be given to a female also. I’m pointing this out since not all cards that are female in nature can be given to a male. Someone always shoots me an email when I say a card is masculine saying they would give it to a female as well, lol, so I thought I would clear that up. 🙂
