Hello Stamping Friends,

Today we are out of the box, in the box, all over the box, lol.    I used a bit of cardboard for the background of my little scene today, talk about texture!  This rough look is unexpected but delightful.  It may look like it is heavy in weight but the cardboard is light.  I love the look of mixed media and I’m sure you have a cardboard box hanging out somewhere so it will not cost you anything to cut a piece out of the flap, whoohoo!

Free Video – Frosted Prairie Grass Card

Hello Stamping Friends,

I grabbed my Prairie Grass stamp set today because I envisioned having frosted foliage in the foreground of my wintery scene.   Check out my free video below to see just how simple it is to create this lovely chilly effect in your scenes.  Also, I teamed the Prairie Grass stamp set up with the new Woodland Scenery stamp set and they work so well together.  I used the cabin image but you can easily use the deer or bear in this scene as well, so fun!

Free Video – Textured Artistic Leaves Card

Hello Stamping Friends,

Texture is the name of the game today.  In real life you can see so much texture, unfortunately, it’s doesn’t show up as well on camera.  Trust me, you will want to pull out your stamps and ink and make a few of these for your stash.  Great card for Autumn in which you can stamp so many sentiments in the inside of the card to cover so many occasions.

The Embossed focal leaf on the front of the card looks like leather when you heat emboss it, so lovely.   The embossing on the background panel gives instant texture.

The stamp set has two step stamping so you can get instant multi colored leaves, oh yes!

Now, since the Stampin’ Up! I’ve got another Halloween card idea and free video for you today.  Halloween is the perfect time to create shadows for your trick or treaters.  This gives you the nice spooky feel and depth in your scene as well.  My video will walk you through this card project step by step.  It’s so easy when you break it down and really doesn’t take long to come together.   Isn’t that cat just the cutest!  The dog in the set can easily be used instead of the cat if you want a boy image instead of the girl cat.  Can’t forget our boys now can we, lol.
