My First Ever Blog Candy!

dsc03745.JPG

I’m not a blog candy kind of girl.  Meaning you won’t see me giving stuff away constantly in order to create traffic to my blog.  I would rather give you tutorials you can use.  But I stayed up way to late last night and I slept in this morning and find myself having two of these beautiful stamp sets Comfort & Peace from Gina K. Designs.  A gal only needs one set so the other one I am giving away as my first ever blog candy.  So leave a comment on this post telling me the things you would like to see in the future on my blog.  I will have my husband, Russ draw a random number tomorrow morning and that number will receive this set for free!

Fair enough, I got to sleep in this morning and you have a chance at a beautiful free Gina K. Designs stamp set.

Hey, have a fabulous Friday!

Until my next post. . . . .

Michelle

You are a true Artist! I love to check your blog daily just because you are an inspiration and I love your style so much. Keep doing what you are doing because I have learned alot from your beautiful tutorials. I had never sponged or brayered until I started watching your tutorials and I love it. Thanks for sharing yourself and your talent with us. I really like the scenery type cards.

I have become an addicted stamper, thanks to your tutorials. I cannot telll you how much I appreciate them and the fact that I am now producing results I am actually proud of. I don’t usually care about blog candy but I love that set. There are too many times when those sentiments are needed. I think you have already heard me so I am being a terrible nag, please forgive me, but I would appreciate the size of the card. If you could see me trying to figure it out on my own you would be ROFL.

The only thing I think I want to see is more of the same. You really are an artist and I appreciate you sharing the steps on how you got to the finished card. Just trying your techniques is making me a better stamper, and I really thank you for that.

Hi, I love your tutorials. Then are very helpful. I check in often to see what you have created. Blog candy is nice but your beautiful art work and generous time creating the tutorial’s is what brings me back to your blog.
Thank you for making my work so much better.

I love what you are already doing on your blog. It’s so interesting to read about the creative process- like what’s going on in your head as you are creating. I’m just here hoping some of your talent and creativity will rub off on me! You are truly an artist and thanks for sharing. I appreciate the time and effort that it takes to stop and take pics along the way, then upload them to the blog. Thanks!

I have to sound like everybody else who sent in a comment and say I totally love what you do right now. I look forward to each and every tutorial you do, & they’re so– easy to follow. I agree w/ one of the other ladies about using your puches as a spring board for some projects, loved that vase one as well. That enables me to see different uses for everyday items. Thanx for the chance at this lovely set of stamps, that’s very kind of you. Have a great weekend!

I only recently stumbled upon yours and was just awe struck at your creativity and thought the tutorial style is so unique and valuable to those of us who strive to venture in the area that you excel. Keep it coming!

Hi Michelle, I think you deserve a lie in!! LOL for all the work you do for us and it should be us that gives you something not the other way around. The only thing that could top what you are doing now would be a video. I have found actually seeing the techniques in motion somehow actually make things click into place. A sort of ‘oh that’s how you do it’ moment. I look forward every day to see your creations. Many many thanks.

I would like to see you at my house, for a play date with stamps.

Your tutorials are great. I can’t think of anything on your blog to improve.

The new Gina K. Designs set, Comfort and Peace is beautiful. Sympathy cards are one of the more difficult cards to create but easier with the right stamp set.

    Hi Michelle…and Russ! 😀
You do a fabulous job teaching your methods in your tutorials and of course, a video to see the actual brayering process in action would be great. I, personally, would love to learn how you decide what you are going to create each day. The variety in your creations just amazes me so I’d love to learn how you come up with these ideas and the process you go through to decide what colours to use, what size paper to use, what scene you’ll create….etc. I know it would be hard to describe the creative process but just a glimpse into your mind would be exciting. Thanks for all you do! Russ, I’d sure like to win that stamp set!!!! 😉
    Happy Mother’s Day,
    Trish

So I’ll just keep drooling at your work and praying that one day I’ll get something right. Have you ever thought of making a video? I enjoy your blog just the way it is.

One thing I’D like to see: How the HECK do you clean your brayer?!?

And how long does it take to master the brayer?!? I’m brayer-challenged …

Thanks for all the inspiration … oh, and the chance to win, too!

What fun to read through all these comments, lol! I hate to be a bore, but I, too, would love to see an occasional video. I stress “occasional,” though. I really love your tutorials just the way they are…step by step with pictures along the way.

I guess what I love about them is that you’re not doing some complicated “technique.” It’s a melding of various simple things that somehow turn into beauty, lol! I can’t remember what I was working on recently, but I all of a sudden had the thought to go over an image with my versamarker, lol! These things you show are easy to work into my projects, unlike some of the hugely complicated techniques out there…they’re do-able for most of us.

Russ, if you draw my name, throw it back, please, lol! I won this set from Gina K. the night it was released. It’s a fantastic set and any of these girls would be thrilled to win…

Wow, is still all I can say! I so appreciate your tutorials. I’ve been crafting for many years but what you do with ink is amazing! It’s so true that you never stop learning! As for what I would like to see on your blog in the future is for you to just keep doing what you like cause I feel that we, the viewers, always benefit from that and gain a ton of information! So thanks for the amazing tutorials and just keep on playing and sharing. THANK YOU!!!

As for what I’d like to see is just keep doing what your doing, it’s great! I keep pushing myself to go “outside” my comfort zone and you are the inspiration for that. Thank you.

(Okay, for those days that you take off, sure, I’m a little disappointed, but you need to have some time away and see, I didn’t shrivel up during your last break.)

I’m looking forward to seeing a video of your marvelous wonders, other than that, you just keep up the great work.

    Michelle,

You know the old adage -“If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it?” That’s the way I feel about your blog. I was so happy when I found your blog. Not only have I learned new techniques, I’ve even learned of a few products I haven’t known about or used. Thanks for sharing your time and talent. It has to take a lot of time to do the tutorials. That is “candy” enough! But then to be giving away a set of stamps! Wow. Thanks for sharing!
