My First Ever Blog Candy!

dsc03745.JPG

I’m not a blog candy kind of girl.  Meaning you won’t see me giving stuff away constantly in order to create traffic to my blog.  I would rather give you tutorials you can use.  But I stayed up way to late last night and I slept in this morning and find myself having two of these beautiful stamp sets Comfort & Peace from Gina K. Designs.  A gal only needs one set so the other one I am giving away as my first ever blog candy.  So leave a comment on this post telling me the things you would like to see in the future on my blog.  I will have my husband, Russ draw a random number tomorrow morning and that number will receive this set for free!

Fair enough, I got to sleep in this morning and you have a chance at a beautiful free Gina K. Designs stamp set.

Hey, have a fabulous Friday!

Until my next post. . . . .

Michelle

I just discovered your blog about a week ago but have looked at past work you have done. I am so brayer challenged and am planning to use your tips and hints to perhaps get over my handicap. I am digging out the brayer. Wish me luck. I love the set you are giving away. Thanks for the chance to win it

Michelle – yours is the BEST of the blogs I read everyday – and I do follow a lot of them. Thank you so much for the tutorials. After 5 years doing this craziness, I know how to cut and paste paper but what I have learned (and am still learning) about coloring from your tutorials – out of sight.

Michelle, your tutorials can’t be beat!! I like ALL your work but I believe I enjoy the beautiful landscapes the best. The only thing I would love to see is a video of you at work, doing your brayering! Just know your blog is truly appreciated!

I REALLY enjoy opening my email when your tutorials are there. Your work is wonderful and the directions/photos you offer are so helpful. I especially like that your work is not “over the top” with layers and layers of embellishment. They are so elegant. I agree that a video would be great to see and more uses for punches would be nice. Thanks for the chance to win this set and thanks for sharing your time and talents!

    Hey there!

There is certainly no need for you to ever offer blog candy as you do it everyday with your wonderful tutorials, but a gal isn’t going to turn down the chance for free stamps!

    Thanks for all you do!

  6. Michelle,

I subscribe to your blog and love it…I am braying challenged and have recently brayed my first card. It needs work, but what’s a sista to do? Anyway, thought I would get my name in your drawing because I am a contest lover AND a stamping addict. Gotta get my fix.

Thanks for the opportunity and nighty night.

Thank you for the opportunity to play for your blog candy, but also for providing such wonderful tutorials and sharing such inspiring creations. I really could not tell you what I would like to see. I just look forward to each and every tutorial you post. Your colors are amazing and the tutorials are so easy to follow. All I can say, is whatever you come up with, I want to see. 🙂

Michelle ~ I am also a recent subsciber to your blog and oh my gosh! I knew I would get periodic e-mails but I had no idea I would get a beautiful card with such wonderful detailed instructions EVERY DAY!!! I can not begin to tell you how you inspire me! I have been a stamper for 13 years and have a slight addiction to Stampin’ Up. I am not familiar with the different lines of products you use, such as Adirondack Ink. Maybe you could give us some tidbits here and there on the different product lines and why you use one over another. Also, is there any magic to the way you choose the colors to make your backgrounds come together? They are always incredible!
Thank you for sharing your talents with us!!!

I just recently subscribed and let me tell you, I look forward to the email everyday. I can’t wait to see what beautiful image you have created. I have tried to use my brayer with mixed results yet seeing your creations, gives me hope that someday, if I keep trying, maybe, just maybe I can get results close to yours.

I must say I really liked the Vases card the best because I think I can do that! Just keep up the good work.

    Thanks

I love your blog and always am excited to see a feedblitz note that you have posted new and exciting things. I guess I would have to say please continue to give us more of the same and of course share new stuff you learn as well. I live in a remote town on the west coast of canada……….no craft/fabric/wool/stamps/etc even available here. So I have been learning from visiting excellent blogs like yours………..I have been rubberstamping since the early 90’s but have never been able to attend a class so I am SO thankful for the internet and fabulous blogs……….hope I’m not too late with this post………..

Michelle: I have learned so much from your tutorials. I would love more hints and tips about embossing of all kinds. I really like how you get color from using both the colored ink pad, as well as the Versamark, though I’m not very good at this technique. I guess what I’m trying to say is I need a tutorial for the basics.

Good Morning! I slept in too! What a wondferful treat!

Michelle I love your tutorials, they are truly an inspiration for me. I was experimenting a few nights ago with a night time card, outside, showing the aurora borealis. I think this could be gorgeous with the ink choices we have. Mine of course didn’t come out exactly as I had planned but I think I have a place to start. I would like to see what you could do with your choice of colors. GOOGLE “nothern lights” or “aurora borealis” photos and you will see what I have in mind. I used a pine tree stamp and some bears walking through the forest as the design for the card and then tried to make this wonderful sky. The whole time I was working on this card I was thinking…”I wonder what Michelle would do?” Thanks for the inspiration and for challenging me.

I don’t know who much better you site could be. I love how you do your tutorials and they are each different in ways that make us think differently. I like landscapes so I would like to see more landscapes. I would bet your scenes would be unbelievable. I really want that stamp set you have as an extra. I wanted to get it but I had to order three stamp sets to get it and there was only one maybe two sets I want. So I was bummed I wasn’t able to buy it. It’s nice of you to offer it. I truly love your visions.

Your blog is great and your tutorials are the BEST! I love the brayering, embossing, and resist techniques. I don’t have all the SU products that you use – more Ranger and Tsukineko inks – and assorted stamps (love the CHF backgrounders). Blog candy is nice, but your tutorials are much more important to me. Keep up the good work.
Thanks a million for sharing your talent,

First I wanted to let you know that I love the tutorials… I use to stalk you on SCS and wonder how you did all your brayer work… Now you are sharing the secret…I appreciate all the extra work that you take to put the tutorials together…

What would I like to see…. What the difference braying on Glossy vs White paper for your background techniques… I’ve only tried the Brayered Sky with Glossy (and after a few tries and tweats I got it to work!!! Yeah me!)

I really love the series that you have been doing inspired from artwork and I would like to see more of that…
