No Stamping for me today.

Sadly, there is no time for stamping today.  A quick ditty this morning is all I have time for. . . .. . .

A lady and her co-workers go to a bar after a hard days work to unwind.  As she is sitting there the most gorgeous man she has ever seen walked in.  She couldn’t help but take little glances at him out of the corner of her eye.  Much to her disbelief he walked over to her and said “for twenty dollars I’ll do any thing you ask me to do”.  She thought for a moment, reached down and got a twenty out of her purse and said “Clean my house”, lol.

That’s how I’m feeling today.  Much to do in way of housework.  We are having a birthday party for my Grand Daughter this weekend and I have a messy house to get ready for company.

There are so many comments on yesterday’s post, I’m so very amazed!  I would love to know where everyone is from.  Give me a shout out today by commenting on this post telling me were you live.  I’ll start by telling you I’m from West Alexandria, Ohio.

If you are getting my blog updates by e-mail and you want to comment, please click this link to take you to my blog:   http://zindorf.blogs.splitcoaststampers.com/2008/07/17/no-stamping-for-me-today/

Don’t forget to stop by tomorrow, Friday, I will be announcing the winner of yesterday’s blog candy.

May your day be a peaceful and relaxing one.

Until my next post.. . . . . . .

Hugs,

Michelle

Hello Michelle~ I boarded the Zindorf wagon train from Bridgton, Maine! We always seem like the last State to hear about anything and everything and the last to receive the same, so it’s sweet to follow you and be inspired by your work and pass on techniques to others here, from your part of the world..lol! Oh, BTW, I used to live in Ohio–Akron, to be exact! I worked at a Bob Evans while living there! It changed my life, well, their Biscuits and Gravy DID!!! LOL–I tried and tried for years to master their gravy AND the biscuits! Finally, I did it!! I now can sit back and make cards inspired by you and have Bob Evans’ bisuits and gravy! NICE!!!

I am from Charlotte, North Carolina… I will share with the others a story I shared with you a while ago…

I was in my LSS and I was looking at some stamps and this lady says,”Look a brayer… I need that!!” and her friend says… “You can buy one… but good luck making it look like Zindorf’s!”

HAA!!! I told them I am a die hard fan as well and we had a good chat about your amazing talents and told a few others about your bolg as well…Thanks for sharing your tutorials and keeping the local brayer sellers in business!!!

The secret to a clean house is ………do all your stamping in a studio with a door. Someone comes……shut the door and pretend there’s nothing behind it. I’m in the heart of Central Texas, San Marcos/Wimberely area. Commute to New Braunfels to work three days a week. If y’all are ever in the neighborhood, stop by or at least give us a holler (phone call for you non-Texans).

Happy Birthday to your Granddaughter. Is she the one who will receive the beautiful dress card?

I’ve been babysitting this past week for a friend (at her house) and my own house is a mess! I sure would pay that guy to clean my house too! 🙂 I have stacks of stuff everywhere getting ready for your workshop out here in California in a few weeks. Just waiting for the rubber stamps to arrive, which is the last thing on the supply list.

The secret to cleaning is put it on your desk top a folder saying cleaning. Next right click on it and delete it. You just cleaned.

    Hi Michelle,
Down here in beautiful deep southwest Virginia on the edge of the Blue Ridge Mountains, I am trying to learn to use my brayer, sponges and Versamark the way you do, but it never quite looks as good….either too much or not enough!
    Happy birthday to your granddaughter!

    Hi Michelle,

I am enjoying seeing that you have fans from all over the world! I am checking in from Grand Rapids, in northern Minnesota, land of 10,000 lakes. This morning I snapped pictures of a pair of loons with two downy babies. Thanks for all you do for us!

I live in Boston. Love your blog. Thanks for all the time and energy you put into your tutorials. No one would want to see what I’d create at 4am!

The best thing we ever did when we bought our house was to hire a cleaning person. We love her. We tend to have dinner parties on Friday because we know the house is clean 🙂

Ugh! Feeling your pain. Hang in there and have a lot of fun at the party. I live on Camp Pendleton, California (US Marine Corps). We just moved out here from the East coast, so it is an adjustment. Not a negative one, just a different pace of life. I’m not complaining. Have a great day!

I’m your biggest German fan and live in Nordhorn in the very Northwest of Germany, pretty close to the Netherlands.
I’m eagerly waiting for a new tutorial (but not about housework, hopefully about some wonderful card again!). But thank you for making me smile with your little story today.

I hate when house cleaning interferes with my creativity!*L* I’m enjoying your blog every day from Brantford, Ontario, Canada. Have a wonderful birthday party with your little one. I love Dawn Knight’s story above and I also want to see the pictures Jenny took of the loons. I’m a real loon fan. Hmmmm, does that make me looney???*LOL*

Your house can’t be too bad. People with terribly messy houses take their kids to Chuck E Cheese’s for birthday parties.

A messy house is the sign of a creative mind. I like the close the door option. I’m from sunny and hot Mesa, Arizona. These are the days where we crank the AC, stay inside and play away in the studio.

I’m in Melbourne, Australia and the last thing I do at night is check your blog. You have the ability to put many of my thoughts and feelings into art form so I find looking at your tutes very ….er…cathartic. I go to sleep dreaming that one day I might be able to do the same.
    ….sigh…in my dreams.
