I’m back from California!

WOW!  What a great time I had teaching workshops at Lisa Itatani’s studio in San Jose, California.   The ladies that attended were all so sensational and fun to meet, plus super talented stampers.  They learned my techniques and are brayer masters now.  🙂

I just returned home late last night, but I wanted to share with everyone some of the workshop pictures that were taken and I will add more as they are e-mailed to me.

A Big Thank you!

Thank you so much Lisa Itatani for hosting me!  You’re the best!

Future Zindorf workshops:

I don’t have dates yet, but the California workshops were just too fun not to do more so I will be scheduling workshops in the Dayton, Ohio area, Longmont area of Colorado and there is talk of another workshop possibly at the beach in the Carmel/Monterey area of California.  Give me a shout out if you would be interested in one of these workshops so I can figure out how many workshops to schedule in each area.  I like to keep the number of people in each workshop small so I can have one on one time with each person attending.

How about workshops in your area?

If you have a studio that can accomodate 6 people, plus me and would like to host some of my workshops for your area, please let me know (mzindorf@aim.com).  I would love to come and stamp with you.

I wish I had a workshop for you, you are a tremendously talented lady. I just have to share this with you, I love your last name and always think of ‘the lord of the rings’ and think of you as a the fairy queen [with the brayer] I know, I know sounds silly but it has that ring to me.

WELCOME BACK!!! Glad to know you had a great time and thanks for sharing the photos. I’d love to be in one of your workshops but alas, I cannot travel right now and my studio will accomodate three or four comfortably. I suppose I could set up stamping tables in my living room but would you come all the way to Texas???? Can’t wait to see a tutorial again and am so happy you got away and came back home safe and sound.

How does it work to have you do a workshop? Does a stamp store contact you or do individuals contact? Would you do a workshop for only a Stampin Up demonstrator? I would give my right hip to attend one of your classes? Hint: my right hip is being replaced the first part of Sept. So you see, I have a right hip to give you (LOL). I am from Portland, Oregon.

Wow, don’t be creeped out, but I really missed you while you were gone!! I so look forward to your daily creations, that I kept thinking “hmm, I wonder when Michelle will be home?” I felt like a thirteen year old and my best friend was on vacation. Hey, I don’t begrudge you the break and I am happy you had a good time and enjoyed your workshops, but well, I missed you. Can’t wait to see your first creation!

Oh Michelle, I would love to have come for a workshop in my area — and I could easily host six people and I could host you as well. I am not a demo — but I love stamping! How does this work? Is there a charge for coming? I am also sure i could help you get more than one workshop in this area. I live in the York/Harrisburg/Lancaster area of Pennsylvania.

I would so love to come to the Dayton area to take a workshop! My cousin lived in Springfield with her family until today! Today they moved to South Carolina, so I’d have to find somewhere else to stay (my SU upline’s home?….) but I would find a way, believe me!

Michelle – Thank you SO MUCH for coming to California for your workshop… after reading the comments I realize again how dang lucky I was to get the last spot available. You’re a natural teacher with loads of patience. Now I look at your cards thinking, “I could do that.” But you instinctively know how to put a scene together and have such an artist’s eye… without those gifts all I can do is case your work. I have the basic concepts now thanks to you, so hopefully after enough copying I’ll be able to use my new skills in creating something of my own!?

You already have my vote for Monterey – can’t wait!

A side note to Lisa – You were such a fabulous hostess. Your lovely home, cool studio and the “light dinner” – HA! were first class all the way. Thank you for bringing Michelle to our area and extending the opportunity to be her students. And to my fellow workshop participants – it was fun and I enjoyed meeting each of you. Stampers (and their sisters!) are the nicest people!

Michelle, I have recently retired after teaching 35 years in an elementary school. A friend shared your website with me and I have thoroughly enjoyed it. I have loved your cards they are so unique. I live in the Englewood area and would love to attend one of your workshops. I would be glad to help organize a workshop in the area if you would let me know what you would require.

  29. Oh My! I too can easily accommodate 7 for a class …we usually have way more than that – but whatever you want! and I would LOVE to host you for workshops. I live in Bethlehem Twp (Lehigh Valley) in PA – and am right next to the Jersey border….(and its not too far for Karen’s niece Claire to come either!!) I am also a straight ride into Manhattan(like an 1 1/2 hours) so you can take in a show, dinner, Time Square….you name it….I got it!! You will need to let us all know what we need to do to for you to come….you may not know what a can you’ve opened here, missy!! LOL

    anyway – glad you’re back!!
