Below is a card I want to show you.  This was created in a joint effort by myself and Karen Barber at our Stampin’ Up Team meeting last night.  We used a new Stampin’ Up set “Autumn Splendor”.  This set is featured in the Stampin’ Up Holiday Mini Catalog that will start September 1, 2009.  If you need a copy of the new mini catalog e-mail your address to:  mzindorf@aim.com and I will get one in the mail to you.  If you are a customer of mine, this catalog will automatically be mailed to you.

The Autumn Splendor set has some really terrific fine line leaves that are fun to color.  Make sure to put these on your list of have to haves for the Fall season.

Hey, check out that black embossing on the black panel on the card below.  I know it is hard to see in the photo, but in real life it is stunning!  That was Karen Barbers idea and it really made this card pop.  Give the Black embossing on black card stock a try, you will fall in love with this technique.

My down-line that were not able to be at the team meeting last night will get the instructions for this card via e-mail.  🙂

Well that is it for today, don’t forget to enter your comment for the blog candy!

Until my next post. . . . .  . . . . . . . . . . . . . ..

Huge Hugs,

Michelle

Michelle, I love the colors that you used for this card. It makes me wish that fall as already here. The blue on the card stock makes the leaves really stand out. I have never used any of the Prismacolor’s. Would love to win these markers.
Thanks for sharing with all of us, your wonderful works. Any chance that you might come to Georgia with your Brayer Workshops. Again, thanks for all that you do to help us.

The autumn card is just so fallish! One I’d like to try also.
I use the Prismacolored pencils and nothing else, so if the markers are anything like the pencils, they would be great to own. Thanks for the opportunity for a chance to win these.
