Below is a card I want to show you.  This was created in a joint effort by myself and Karen Barber at our Stampin’ Up Team meeting last night.  We used a new Stampin’ Up set “Autumn Splendor”.  This set is featured in the Stampin’ Up Holiday Mini Catalog that will start September 1, 2009.  If you need a copy of the new mini catalog e-mail your address to:  mzindorf@aim.com and I will get one in the mail to you.  If you are a customer of mine, this catalog will automatically be mailed to you.

The Autumn Splendor set has some really terrific fine line leaves that are fun to color.  Make sure to put these on your list of have to haves for the Fall season.

Hey, check out that black embossing on the black panel on the card below.  I know it is hard to see in the photo, but in real life it is stunning!  That was Karen Barbers idea and it really made this card pop.  Give the Black embossing on black card stock a try, you will fall in love with this technique.

My down-line that were not able to be at the team meeting last night will get the instructions for this card via e-mail.  🙂

  6. Michelle, I’ve never used these, just the pencils which I love.
I’m estatic that I get a chance to win these markers. I love to try new coloring mediums but cannot always afford them. I get you e-mails daily and sigh over the beautiful works of art that you create. The leaves done with these markers look absolutely gorgeous, lots of detail.
    Thanks, Nicole

    Dear Michelle,

I feel like I’ve been a sheltered “marker” user. I use the SU! markers but not much of anything else. Since I do love the prisacolor pencils, I’m sure the markers are just as wonderful. Now if I could only color like you, I’d be in heaven!
    Thanks!

Michelle, I love your tutorials. You are so creative. And I am fascinated by the way you use Prismacolor markers. I would love to win these markers so that I can try them out–they are too expensive for me to buy! Have to save my money for stamps.

I’d love to have these, a great way to get started with them. The only problem is I doubt that even with them my work would look like yours! Really, really wish I could get to one of your workshops. Till then I make do with your daily tutorials. I’m getting better! Love your work and appreciate your willingness to share your secrets! I have recently started following your blog and have tried a few of your tutorials. I have had a lot of fun learning several new techniques. Your work is more like a piece of art than it is a card. I hope to try to attend a workshop in the DC area next year.

Thankyou so much for so much Michelle. Your generous giving is wonderful both in sharing your artwork and blog candy. I often look at Prisma Colours but can never quite justify the expense so to win these would be fantastic. I will gladly pay the extra postage to New Zealand if my name comes up!!LOL
