    My favorite thing about fall is when the air is a little cooler and crisp and you make crunching sounds when walking through the leaves. It is a special memory of when I was little.

    Here in Southern Ontario the best thing about fall is the color of the leaves and the bright sunny days. From my house the Niagara Escarpment looks like it is on fire with color.

    What I like about Autumn is the changing of the leaves and the cooling weather. ALthough living in Arizona, we do not have much of an Autumn. On Thanksgiving day, they are predicting 79-80 degrees!! How can anyone get into the holidays with that kind of weather? But I guess it is better than shoveling snow! LOL!

    Hi Michelle,
    Well what I love the most about the fall are the soft rich colors that we are discovering little by little just like if the summer had hidden them under her warm coat of vibrant colors. Since Red is my favorite color I do feel pretty comfortable.

    I have to pick just ONE thing that I love about autumn? I would say it would have to be the beautiful colors as the leaves turn. (Although I also love the crisp taste of fresh-picked apples, fresh apple cider, the crunch of leaves underfoot… well, you get the idea!)

    Favorite thing about autumn?? For me it would be Thanksgiving Day. Everything about autumn culminates with this special holiday. Be blessed!

    I love the windy days, when the air smells so sweet and clean. It smells sort of like watermelon to me. I love to sit out in the sun and smell the air, and feel the wind in my face.

    Fall is my favorite time of the year. It reminds me of the goodness that we have truely been blessed with from the spring and summer…you know…warm sunshine, fresh rain, things starting to bloom–new life beginning… to the growing and maturing of the sunshine, rain and plenty from the gardens. Its the time right before the earth “sleeps” getting ready for the next delivery of new life/blessings.

    I love watching the world (trees, plants, etc) go to sleep for the winter, hot cups of tea/hot chocolate on our deck late at night waiting for the hubby to come home (1 a.m.), warm sweater, the smell of a wood stove and snow.

    Oops, forgot to mention, besides the lovely fall leaves, my favorite thing in the fall is

    FOOTBALL!!!!!!

    and gaudy Homecoming corsages made of mums as big as your head,

    And the smells of leaves burning and the first fires in fireplaces..which are not things we experience here in Florida very often.

    Michelle I’ve learned so much from your tutorials, ways to think outside the box with my stamps, and I just wanted to say Thank You Very Much, You’re an Inspiration!!!
    My Fav thing about fall has to be, of course, THE COLOR! There’s nothing as breathtaking as rounding a bend in the road and seeing a Splendor of Color Unfold before your eyes, and feeling yourself go, Ohhh!

    Perfect weather, not to hot or to cold, is what I love about Autumn. I also like the smell of the air. And with cooler weather, soups and crusty loaves of Vienna bread for supper and pies for dessert are perfect meals.

    And for the past three years, a flock of over 50 female cardinals gather in our trees and take turns eating the berries off some bushes.

    I love this stamp set, because I love leaves. My favorite thing about Autumn is the bright colors when the leaves begin to change. The bright orange, yellow, red and rust colors just make me say “AWE”. About a week ago I drove down Padden Express in Vancouver Washington, where I live, just look at all the trees that line this road. There are retaining walls on each side of the road, and they have these bright red and orange things (some type of climbing plant) all over the walls, and combined with the trees it is just heavenly.

    Thanks for offering this wonderful stamp set and I would feel honored if I won and to use it to create some “Autumn” cards.

    Autumn is my favorite season………it starts to cool off after a hot summer and then it’s time for comfort food of homemade soups and breads, the beautiful colored leaves and baking all kinds of goodies. Being able to sip hot cider and warming up to a crackling fire…….then there is Thanksgiving. Family, friends and so many wonderful blessings and memories to share. This year Thanksgiving will be our 21st wedding anniversary and i am so grateful for my wonderful husband and family.

    One thing I like about fall is walking my favorite path in the woods, kicking leaves as I go, hearing the sounds of silence, watching as the sun rays streak through the trees. It makes for good memories. Now if I could just translate these mental images into beautiful cards in Zindorf style! Thanks for the blog candy offer…

    I love fall colours – especially when the trees turn bright colours – yellows, reds, oranges, etc. This year has been particularly nice – the leaves have stayed on the trees longer, the weather has been very nice.

    Fall always reminds me of the word my dad used to use – invigorating! There are so many things about it that engage all the senses God gave us, and it leaves lasting impressions on the mind with breathtaking color and design.     Fall here in our community means sorghum cooking, and beautiful colors on the trees as they change from green to red, gold, and browns. I love what you have done with this set in the past, thanks for the offer.

    That is such a pretty stamp set! Love the detailed leaves, and I have a “thing” for acorns lately! Since we are in FL, my favorite thing about autumn is that the air gets just a little bit cooler and less humid. Hooray! But, we did get back to NY, and I loved the fall colors and the smell of the leaves.

    I’m probably too late, but I’ll comment anyway. I’m not a fan of autumn. The colors are pretty and all that, but it just means that winter is right around the corner….and I HATE winter! I do like the crisp mornings that turn into warm days. I do love jackets, and you can’t wear those in the summer. I also love the fall vegetables, (squashes and pumpkins). So I guess it’s not so bad. It’s just not my favorite.

    I just love this set. I’ve seen you use it with different colors in several cards and those were so beautiful. I like autumn for the colors, of course, and for the Thanksgiving holiday. Also, I know about mushrooms and my husband and kids will go for mushroom picking and make delicious mushroom homemade soup. It is creamy and comforting… and at the evening when it gets colder we have bowl of warm mushroom soup with sour cream…..

    I love the colours of autumn. Sadly, this year we did not get to experience the beautiful golds, reds and oranges in western Canada. The weather did not cooperate, and all we got was brown.
    I will just have to make up for it by creating my own fall scenes when I win that wonderful stamp set you are offering!! Thanks for your generosity. Judi

    beautiful autumn images. My fave part of autum (aside from Thanksgiving) is the falling of the leaves and the obligatory jumping in the piles of leaves. Makes me feel like a kid again.
