Are you ready for some new blog candy!  This week as blog candy I have the Stampin’ Up! set, Spring Song to give away.

    I love love love getting to spend time outsid!!. I have an 18 month old daughter and it is hard to keep her occupied in the house. Now we go for walks, play at the park, play with the neighbors and we are having a great time!!

    What I love most about spring is the migration of birds back to our town. We do have plenty of winter residents, including a hummingbird or two who brave the winter here because I keep thawed nectar feeders out for them. Now we have an even greater variety, everything from woodpeckers and roadrunners to the tiniest warblers. Just this week we had an early fledgling goldfinch at the feeder with it’s mom, and he was begging mom to feed him! Just too much fun!! Would you be surprised if I said I LOVE your blog candy bird stamps!! 🙂

    I love spring because that is the time to start looking at annuals. I love begonias because they last all spring and summer. I love putting my snow shovels away in the back of the shed and bringing forward my ceramic pots, especially the ones I purchased the year before at the sales. Of course the first spring day after being stuck inside I always get a headache because I’ve over done it and have breathed in all the pollen, but my nose gets used to it pretty soon…oh my Spring Day!

    I love most the return of COLOR after the lack of it during Winter! Green grass, buds and leaves on trees, bulb flowers emerging after a Winter’s sleep! What do I NOT love? Pollen! It’s a catch 22 but I still love Spring!

    What do I like about Spring? Can I say “EVERYTHING”? Guess not, so I guess it would be the return of all the birds that flew South for the Winter. We have bird feeders all around the house and I love going out early in the morning and sitting on the porch to watch the birds, and the beautiful colors of each. Second or a tie, would be the new leaves coming out on the trees. So beautiful out here in the country. Thank you as always Michelle for a chance to win — I would love to have that stamp set.

    Spring brings lovely things such as: Rain falling softly on my window pane, birds singing a sweet song to the sky, flowers peeking their pretty petals ever so slowly out of hiding, and blue skies to remind me how beautiful life is here on planet earth! That is what I love about spring.

    I love the smell of freesias, and all the vibrant colour of the new flowers poking their wee heads up at the warm sunshine. Also nice to know the days are getting longer, and we can spend more time outside.

    Spring–my favorite season. I love the first colors, lavenders of lilacs, dark pink of the rosebuds, white and light pink of the dogwoods, and the very light, fresh green of new tree leaves. (P.S. Tuesday is my birthday…) Thanks for the chance to win some candy.

    What I love about spring……..
    the pale green leaves at the trees, lots of daffodils and most of all….the start of the bbq season! Today in Holland it’s such lovely weather that we can’t wait any longer. I made meself really dirty..but the bbq is clean again, so let’s go BBQ!!! :o)

    What do I love about spring…… I come alive as soon as spring arrives, winter makes me so depressed, so spring is like a rebirth to me. I love watching all my flowers in my garden awakening and growing after their winter slumber and watching the birds busily collecting straw from our compost heap to build their nests (I could watch them for hours).

    I love being able to get outside and ride my bicycle with my husband and daughter when the weather warms up. It is a major activity for us from spring through fall and we often plan our vacations around cycling opportunities.

    I love the breeze. Being in Charleston, we have a constant breeze off the water and it is so nice to open up the windows and feel the cool Spring air! Not to mention all the azaleas blooming. It is definitely a gorgeous time of year to be here!

    Spring is my favorite season. I love most that things come alive. The bulb flowers are my favorite and I love seeing all the animal babies – especially all the baby quail we get.

    What a wonderful set! Spring is full of promises. It tells me not to be discouraged when I break the promises I make myself to go walking regularly, to eat healthier. Just like nature, I can start over, renew my efforts, believe that this time, my promises to self will bear fruit!

    I love the sound of the birds singing as they prepare their nests and raise their young. I love to see lambs playing in the fields. Love seeing little ducklings swimming around in the rivers and ponds. And of course love seeing the spring flowers blooming everywhere giving us some much needed colour. Oh and to feel the warmth of the sun is sooo nice after winter
