The smell of fresh cut grass, digging my hands in the dirt to prep the flower beds, watching my tulips grow, birds chirpping, the children being able to ride their bikes and scooters outdoors, childrens laughter and the colors of the earth! This is what I love about Spring!
Thank you for reminding me what I am thankful for!

I love, love, love no more snow. And that wonderful soft first flush of green on the trees. And no more snow. And the beginning of a long stretch of warmth. And no more snow. And the start of golf season. And did I mention no more snow?

  9. I love Spring because everything is new, fresh, young, green…we feed the squirrels and birds and what a joy to see the new babies. We have many trees in our yard and the first buds are exciting and one morning you look out the window and you see green leaves, green grass, green shrubs, all gorgeous. And then comes the wonderful sounds of leaves rustling in the wind, bird calls, woodpeckers at work…it’s all such lovely eye candy. Spring is special…we feel new, fresh, young even in our 60’s.

I love the buds and blooms – the fresh green of God’s creation that hint at a new beginning – I love listening to the quiet rain, and most of all I love hearing and seeing my children enjoying the sunshine and warmth outside after being cooped up indoors for most of the winter!

Have a safe trip! Thanks so much for the chance to win some great candy!

  11. I’m sure I won’t be the last to leave a note. Spring always smells so fresh… usually rain is stopping and we’re already heating up… this year, we may have one more rain before the long hot summer :)… we need the rains… just love having the fresh lemons to eat and see all the plants blooming.

What I love about spring is the freshness with the first rains. Here in SA we have dry winters with no rain, lots of dust and dry, dry grass. Spring brings new green, rain, colour and freshness. We are now going into winter, so already can’t wait for spring. Thanks for a chance to win such a lovely set. Safe travelling

I love the beautiful birds, I raise tame white doves and their constant cooing tells us spring is here. Just listening to their sweet songs helps melt the stress away. Each spring also brings me hope again that maybe I can get ahead of the weeds in my garden before they get way out of hand. They have been winning the past few years, and I am thinking they will win this year, as I NEED more time to stamp. Thanks so much for the chance to win the beautiful stamp. I really need a hummingbird stamp.

    Hello,

Thank you for all that you share in your brayering techniques with us–I’m constantly amazed that you can keep coming up with such interesting concepts and enjoy them.

Spring for me means fresh air that I love to have waft through the house as well as enjoy it when I’m outside. It’s a thrill to see those first spring flowers popping their tiny shoots through the ground, and then seeing the first colorful blossoms is something to get excited about too.

Hoping that your spring will be enjoyable too.

    Best wishes from Canada,

    Joanne

I’m in Ohio as well this weekend looking at houses for sale. I didn’t know this states was so green and lush! One house we looked at had a robin’s nest in one of the front bushes and the little birds were so tiny their eyes weren’t even open, but there little mouths sure were.

Hope you have safe travels. Please put me in for this set. I”m so inspired now!!

And the best part here in Indiana….we get to go mushrooming!
