Sorry folks, no tutorial today.  I am in mourning do to the loss of my beloved Parakeet Pheobe.   She passed last night for no apparent reason.  Her mate, Marley is singing a very sad tune today.  😦

My heart is a bit broken and when that happens I need to spend some time being physical, so I will be spending the day swabbing the decks around here.  My heart just isn’t into stamping at the moment.

    I am so sorry to hear about your loss. I know it’s so hard when we loose one of our family, our pets are our kids that never grow up. From personal experience I know the heart ache you feel. You’re in my thoughts and prayers. Take care.

    Michelle I’m so sorry to hear about your loss. My husband brought home a dog who at the time was a year and 1/2. We have had him for a year and 2 months. If we did not take him he would of went to the bound and then you know what would have happened there. I’m so happy to have him. My family can’t get over how much I love my dog. The reason being is because I’m not one to be tied down with any animal. It’s not that I don’t like animals. He is a part of me. I feel like he is my child. He is so spoiled. My daugther and husband has gotten real attached to him to. I’m not looking forward for that day at all. Take all the time you need. Your stampin friends all understand.

    I am so sorry to hear about Pheobe. We had a cat named Pheobe that we lost a couple of years ago. I love my animals because they listen so intently when no one else will. Loss is never easy and I hope you can find comfort in the fond memories you have of your little feathered friend.

    Sorry for the loss of your little furry friend. We lost ours the beginning of Feb. and he looked just like yours. Ours was named Snowball. I so enjoyed hearing him sing to me in the wee hours of the morning.

    Dear Michelle, so sorry to hear of your feathered friends passing. I’m sure it was such a shock. My prayers are lifted to you and your family.

    I had some time tonight to sit and stamp and for the first time, I tried some of your cards….they turned out wonderfully! I’m very proud that I was able to closely case your originals. I haven’t been to your workshop yet, none in my area…but I’m on the list to be a hostess when you do next years schedule.

    Tonight I did a beach card…beautiful…the one with the sand dollar and the textured brilliant blue behind it….a field card w/the tire tracks and distant hills….very nice….and lastly the black birdies on the top note w/burgundy, rust and apricot inks behind filling in the sky….My daughter said they were almost perfect matches.

    You are truly an inspiration to me and I’m so lucky to have bumped into your blog. I was creatively stagnant and you’ve refreshed my stamping spirit.

    You’re a gift.

    I came here to wish you a Happy Mother’s Day, but now….oh,my gosh, I wish I knew what to write. I lost my beloved cat ‘Baby” last fall, so it’s a tear jerker when you lose a pethugs to you, your family & most of all, Marley.

    I am so sorry to hear about Pheobe. I have two cockateels, who are now nine, and do not know what I would do without them. Each bird has its own little personality and they become part of the family. I just wanted to let you know that my heart goes out to you.

    I am so sorry to hear about your beloved birdie. My heart breaks with you. Just last week….I lost my long time companion, Sugar. I came home from work to find her on the cage floor struggling to take her last breath. Then she was gone. I adopted her from our local vet. She didn’t have many feathers due to years of plucking before she came to our home. She eventually did quit plucking her feathers but they never grew back because of scar tissue. She is missed greatly. Her companion Solomon cried for days. 😦 My thoughts go out to you.
