Congratulations Wild Boy!

This is my youngest Son, Mitch.  He is my wild child and the graffiti artist in the family.  Mitch is the TRUE ARTIST around here.  When he was in high school and very much into graffiti I was sure that I was going to have to pay to have a train, building, bridge,  etc. painted, lol.  He always tried to reassure me that he was doing his art work in public places that allowed graffiti art, uhuh, lol, I was not born yesterday.  We won’t even mention the tatoos and piercings he has shocked me with.  🙂

Since Mitch is my wild child and free spirit, I was totally shocked to hear that he had selected law enforcement as a career choice.   I have always been very proud of my both of my sons.  Today I am extra proud of my youngest, wild child, Mitch who will graduate from the Criminal Justice Training Academy this evening.

Woohoo Wild Boy!  You made it!!!!

My heart is overflowing with pride.  🙂  Please join me in congratulating him.

Hugs,

Michelle

Kids always have a way of surprising us! Congratulations to you and your family. I’m sure he’ll make a great cop but I have a feeling he’ll go easy on the graffitti artists – lol.

So glad to hear of your son’s success. I always say that if they are brought up in a good, loving home they will always have that grounding for later in life, even if they do go “off the rails” a little when they are young. Congrats to your son and your parenting!

Congratulations to all of your family members. This is such wonderful news. All the time you worried about him and his art over the years, this event repays all the worries as he was becoming an adult.
Enjoy your time together… I will pray for Mitch’s safety as his career begins.
    Best Wishes from Arizona

Congrats to Mitch and all who’ve been part of his life. Being from a family of nine children, my parents will tell you I’m still their “Wild Child” at the young age of 48. I’m happy that I’m the first one they call when they need something.
Mitch, I’m sure you’ll do fantastic and will make your family proud.

Wow! This post brought tears to my eyes for many reasons. As a parent with a child who has never been conventional in her path I can imagine the pride you are feeling for your son’s achievements and the joy and certainty that in spite of his atypical creative outlets that he did indeed turn out more than alright – a feeling every parent wants to experience. Congratulations Michelle! And – Congratulations Mitch! You will bring to your job a fresh new perspective, one where you will know that appearances can often be deceiving and understanding is key to peace and love.
