Day of Gratitude – Blog Candy, Oh Yeah Baby!

Hey There, Well I am back from my week in the awesome state of Georgia.    Where I got to spend some time teaching and touring Savannah and Atlanta.   Fun, fun times!

I’m going to show you some pictures I took on my trip, but first I want to give away a great Stampin’ Up! set of Stamps “Day of Gratitude”.   I got so many e-mails/comments from people telling me they wanted this set after I used it in this card, I thought I would give a set away as blog candy.

Not to mention I have been neglecting you, by not being able to post projects during my trip.  So, to enter to win this lovely, lovely set of stamps, please leave a comment telling me to enter you.   If you are receiving this blog update via e-mail you will need to CLICK HERE then leave a comment.  Please no e-mail entries.

I will use a number generator on Friday, October 22, 2010 to select the winner.  Remember, you cannot win if you do not enter.  Good luck everyone!

Now, here are some scenery pictures from my trip.  🙂

I am so very fortunate to get to drive to many of my Brayer Workshop locations.  Getting to see the sights around the United States is one very big perk!

This was taken somewhere between Ohio and Savannah, Georgia, lol.  It was taken through the windshield as I was driving so. .. . . . .

This is my dream home in Savannah all decked out for Autumn.  Love the stunning architecture in this town.  This was not my first trip to Savannah, but I just can’t get enough of it.

One of the fountains in the Squares.  Check out the moss hanging from that oak tree.  Love it!  If you visit Savannah, don’t just take a trolly tour etc., really you must see and walk through some of the squares to get a real feel of what it must be like to live there.

How about some more architecture.

Of course, I had to eat dinner at Paul Deen’s Restaurant, Lady & Sons.  Sorry, this was taken when I left the restaurant at night.  🙂   MMMMM good food!

My second day there I went to Tybee Island.  🙂

I finished my day with this, lol

The next three days were full of fun Brayer Workshops in both Savannah and Atlanta.  Then my drive home yesterday.

I have a really rough job, not!

May your day be filled with fun stuff.

Until my next post. . . . . .

Hugs,

Michelle

Besides all the beautiful art work and instructions that you provide us with Michelle, you give those of us who can’t travel for one reason or another a chance to see the United States in real life – random photos actually taken by a person and not out of a book. God love you for sharing and I for sure appreciate your taking the time TO SHARE THEM with us too.
May God Bless You for all your kindness – we can always count on you to have a surprise in store in each email that you send.
Yes, I’d love to win a stamp set, please enter me in the drawing. Thanks.

Please enter me in the drawing for your wonderful blog candy. I so enjoy your beautiful cards and marvel at your ability to visualize the finished piece. And then to figure out what order certain steps must be taken! I’m catching on and understand the concept….and can follow your instructions. But I have yet to attempt an original design, but am sure that one day that will also be achieved. Thank you for your generosity – not only of blog candy but the time in creating your wonderful tutorials.

Woot! Blog candy! I’ve been trying many of your tutorials, but can’t get the hang of the brayer. I’ve been sponging them, and prettty pleased with most of them. Your pictures of Savannah are stunning! Hmmm…I wonder if one of them could be inspiration for a new card?!

Please enter me in the draw for this lovely stamp set. Your card is so rich & beautiful. I remember another card a while back with similar medallion or was it this medallion stamp?… stamped as a big sunrise in the background. Gorgeous.
Thanks for the chance of winning.
