I’m having some issues today, lol.

I’m having a bit of trouble today posting.  Bare with me I will have a tutorial for you as soon as possible.

You know when it rains it pours, our well pump happened to go out last night also, so while I am sitting here trying to post to my blog I’m singing  “HOW DRY I AM, HOW DRY I AM”.  You just don’t realize how much we depend on water until it isn’t there.    Good thing there is a repairman that will help us out sometime today.    Hmmm, where is that repairman anyway?  He said he would be here by 11:00 a.m.  It is now 1:15 p.m.  If you see him send him my way will ya!  I could use a shower, lol.

Hope all is going well for you today.

Hugs,

Michelle

Sorry to hear your having problems.
I would love to send you some of our rain, it’s hardly stopped very long here in Scotland (UK) for over a week, high winds are driving it too tonight.
Dry sounds good ….. at least for a wee while anyway, another few weeks of better weather would be lovely.
It’s not B.O. we need to worry about here…..just mould maybe, lol
I hope you find your repair man soon.

  2. I know the feeling………our washer went out mid-cycle on Saturday. Thankfully we just had a new one delivered minutes ago. But it does seem like when one thing goes wrong others are soon to follow. I’m holding my breath waiting for the other shoe to drop. 🙂

Sorry to hear about your pump. That happened to my girlfriend but she had horses and they came right out to do the repairs. Don’t know if it’s universal but here in Ca. you go to the top of the list if you have livestock.
    Good Luck!

I feel you pain. Let’s see… in the past 2 months we have replaced one of our heating and air conditioning units and I have to replace our Culligan water softener system and one of our hot water heaters. Yesterday my fridge started doing wierd things and my mixer is making strange noises. Please don’t let anything happen to my water pump. You are correct. You don’t realize how much you use water until you don’t have it.

I so relate! Our well is broken on the farm too, but we have livestock without water that we are watering by hand….hope you get your fresh shower soon!

  6. The same darn thing happened to us about 3 weeks ago! On a Saturday night. I was in the shower, all sudsy when the water went away… and my husband was out of town! Nearest neighbor is 2 miles away.. I had to go rinse my hair at their place and fill up containers of water… It was fixed the next day’s afternoon…

Oh…..I feel your pain. The same thing happened to us a few years ago. We ended up not being able to replace the pump because they could not get it out. Apparently, our well (which dates back to the mid seventies) no longer met code and was not big enough for the extraction or accommodation of the new pump. Therefore we had to drill a new well….grrrrr! I hope things turn out better for you (I’m sure they will!).

    Good luck!

  9. Been there too! Ours went out on a Sunday. Took the horses to the neighbors and took showers there too. I’m hoping we don’t have another ice with snow storm and loose power. Nothing worse than no water and no electricity! Yes, I could stamp by candlelight I suppose if my fingers could stay warm. Good luck and hope you have water soon. I always enjoy your tutorials and might have to see if I can find someone to go to your SD workshop. I just can’t get my brayering to be as variegated as yours, I have to good of coverage so there must be some trick.
