Jelly Fish Invasion & Some Blog Candy to Boot!

Hey All,

Well I made it to Baltimore, Maryland today.   It only took about 8.5 hours in the rain by car.  After the rainy drive however, I decided to treat myself to a little side trip and went to the National Aquarium in Baltimore.   Well worth every penny spent on admission.  I have some photos to share with you from the Aquarium, but first how about some BLOG CANDY!!!  You know, the candy that isn’t fattening, woohooo!

Now on with the Aquarium photos.   As you see I was quite fasinated by the jelly fish.  In fact the jelly fish room was my favorite out of all that I seen.  How awesome are they?

Other sights seen.  As you can tell I didn’t take a lot of photos of actual fish.  They were too quick, swimming to and fro, so my photos of them came out blurry.

Well it is time to hit the sack so I can be fresh for my Brayer Workshops tomorrow.

    Your aquarium photos are GORGEOUS ! We took DD to one a couple of years ago and she was just amazed by it all (at 3) Incidentally, did you know a group of jellyfish is called a bloom ? isn’t that lovely !

    Lucky you to be at the Aquarium! I took a two-week course there a few years ago, and loved every part of it! My favorites were the manta rays. I used to go to class a half hour early, just so I could watch (and listen to) the mantas as they slapped the water with their fins. Good times! Enjoy! Thanks for the fun blog candy offer!

    I love the jelly fish pics. When we visited Chattanoga, TN several years ago their aquarium had a seahorse and a jelly fish exhibit Fascinating. Throw my name in the hate. One can always use another holiday set!

    Oh please do enter me. That’s a great little set! The sea does have some fascinating creatures. I was mesmerized by the seahorses when I visited an aquarium a couple of years ago. Simply amazing. Enjoy Maryland!

    so glad the jellyfish are enclosed in the aquarium! I have had some nasty stings from them on the beach….. so painful. but they are pretty to look at. love the other pix, too!

    I’m glad you completed your trip safely in that rain! Your photos are all amazing! I especially liked that colorful crab! I haven’t been to the aquarium since the first year it opened, so thanks for the great photos. And yes, I’d love to be entered to win that CUTE stamp set! TFS!
