I will select the winner using a random number generator on Friday, October 14, 2011.   I will be in Savannah, GA, but I will hop on the internet and announce the winner.  Good Luck Everyone!

Hey, can you guess what I am up today, instead of stamping?    My house smells of Apples and cinnamon, grin.

If you guessed Apple Butter or Apple Sauce, you are correct.   I am canning both.

I also need to put up the last of the peppers from my garden.

Well back to the kitchen. . . . .

  1. We are sister-canning queens! I put up apple sauce (yum, yum!!) this past weekend and also finished canning the rest of my tomatoes and peppers in the form of pasta sauce.

Thank you so much for the opportunity to win the beautiful stamp as blog candy. It is gorgeous!

    Cheers!

  3. Yum, love the smell of apples and cinnamon. When I lived in upstate NY, on Lake Ontario about an hour east of Niagara, we had 10 acres of apples. Now in AZ, I can’t even grow weeds…sigh. Thank you for the chance to win that fabulous Hello, Doily background stamp. It would be well loved (and used) on many a card.

It’s Canadian Thanksgiving so our house smells of roast turkey, mashed potatoes, dressing, gravy, green beans, and broccoli cauliflower salad. Yum! Now I’m boiling the turkey bones for soup.

What a gorgeous doily stamp you have up for blog candy today. Best wishes with your apple sauce canning.

Please enter me to win the doliy stamp. It reminds me of my Grandma who had them everywhere. She also was the one who taught me to make apple butter. But she is gone now and I can longer do canning and jellies and jam and I REALLY miss the smell all over the house. And if I win the stamp and you want to tuck in a jar of apple butter that would be an even prize !!

I would love to be entered for the doily. I love it but I haven’t been able to get it yet.
If you happen to have a chance I’d love to read how you are putting up your peppers. I have a ton of both with no way to save them.
Thanks for all you do for us.
