Outlined Occasions Blog Candy!!

Hey There,

Today I am playing around working on the quilt you see above.   It’s made using all Stampin’ Up products, fabric, Dresden plate die cut, big shot machine.   The funny little wings with no bodies will be dragonflies in the future.    This has been a fun on going project that I have been putting together for a few months.  Of course, I only work on it a couple hours at a time so it’s a sloooowwww process.   I’ll show the quilt in it’s entirety when it is completely finished.

Can I just say “so many projects so little time.”  Anyone else feel that way?

Anyhow,  I don’t have a card tutorial for you today, but I do have blog candy!!!

I’m giving away a wonderful Stampin’ Up! set, Outlined Occasions.  Everyone needs some great sentiments, right?

All you have to do to enter for a chance to win this stamp set is leave a comment below telling me to enter you.   If you are getting this blog update via e-mail you will need to CLICK HERE and then leave a comment at the bottom of the blog post.

Sentiments stamps are my favorite and most used! Thanks for the chance to win this pretty set and have a great weekend! I am the one who drove in from Dallas in Feb. for your Austin classes. I have showed off the cards I made in your class to friends, and three of them are going on a long, long roadrip to Kansas for your workshops in July.

  11. Oooh! How did you know I’ve been eyeing this very stamp set!? I can think of lots of ideas to use it on! I’d love to win it!
Now quilting has never been my thing… I love the looks of it but my hands cramp up just looking at all those tiny stitches! And for someone who can draw straight but not sew straight… let’s just say I look at quilting from afar!

What a beautiful quilt!! Although I don’t sew, I can see something like this on paper – possibly using one of the scalloped circle punches! Sounds like a I need to do a little experimenting on a cloudy afternoon!

I am a quilter. I’ve made quilts for each of my four children and each of my four grandchildren and one for myself. It’s lots of work, but they can be mamories that last a lifetime. Your quilt is amazingly beautiful! I also love stamps that resemble stitiching. Please enter me in the drawing. Thank you. And Happy Easter!
