Outlined Occasions Blog Candy!!

Hey There,

Today I am playing around working on the quilt you see above.   It’s made using all Stampin’ Up products, fabric, Dresden plate die cut, big shot machine.   The funny little wings with no bodies will be dragonflies in the future.    This has been a fun on going project that I have been putting together for a few months.  Of course, I only work on it a couple hours at a time so it’s a sloooowwww process.   I’ll show the quilt in it’s entirety when it is completely finished.

Can I just say “so many projects so little time.”  Anyone else feel that way?

Anyhow,  I don’t have a card tutorial for you today, but I do have blog candy!!!

I’m giving away a wonderful Stampin’ Up! set, Outlined Occasions.  Everyone needs some great sentiments, right?

Last weekend we moved my grandmother into a retirement residense. She passed on to me two quilts that she and grandpa made. I was so honored! Quilts are the ultimate labour of love! You are so blessed to be multitalented! Thank you for offering us the chance to win.

I’ve bought some SU fabric but can’t sew to save my life but I decided to get the sale-a-bration one and some when it was on sale. Who knows up what I will end up doing with it. This is one set I didn’t get during sale-a-bration so it would be great to win

I know what you mean about so many projects so little time. I feel the same. There just is not enough hours in the day, days in the week, weeks in the month, or months in the year to get every creative project done that I want to get done. However, I could sure use your blog candy stamp set outline sentiments for some cards. I love them! Thanks so much for all of your inspiration even though I never have enough time to try them all.

I’ve thought about taking up quilting, but I don’t think I have any more space to put supplies for another craft! Besides, I think it would be hard on my eyes. I admire people who can quilt. It’s a beautiful thing!

Please enter me in your drawing!!! Thanks!

    Hi Michelle

I love your quilt in progress! Dresdan plates have long been one of my favorite designs and, in fact, I think I started one years ago but never finished it. When my mother in law died 5 years ago and we were cleaning out her quilt shop I inherited several quilts in varying stages of completion. One of these days I will have to get them done.

Anyway, please enter me in your drawing for the stamp set. I was hemming and hawing when this was out during Sale a Bration.

    Thanks!
