Egg Productivity and Blog Candy Winner

Hey There,

I been asked a lot lately if the girls are laying.  Well, yes they are!   We have been getting about 2-3 eggs a day from them.  They are so pretty, don’t you think?  I picked up this great egg rack so we could keep track of which eggs are the oldest.  You put the egg in at the top of the rack and rolls down.  The ones at the bottom, of course are the oldest.   I say oldest with a grin because the eggs are so good that they don’t last long around here.  Especially with all the baking I’ve been doing of late.

Can you guess which eggs are from our Easter Egger Chicken, Bunny.  Come on take a guess, lol.

Three of our girls lay shades of brown and one lays a pastel green.  Any how, that’s the egg scoop right now.

I already have my 3 chicks on order for the Spring.   If you follow my blog your sure to see their arrival in pictures.

Where did you get the egg basket? I love it and just what I need. I get 2 eggs a day from my 2 chickens, a Banty and a brown chicken LOL. But I do not eat that many a day and sometimes get backed up with eggs, so I need this kind of basket, plus it is cute. I love the different colored egs you get from you chickens. Take care.

    Hi Michelle,

WAAAAAAAAAAAAY too cute! Love reading what you put up even though I don’t always comment. Had to this time, the chicken info is just too cute, and I LOVE the egg holder. Wish you and your family the best always, and you take care of all your loved ones, that includes the chickens!

OK, am I the only one that noticed that we have three brown then a green. Three brown and a green. Even your eggs are color coordinated!!
btw, that is called an EGG SKELTER. They are super cool.. I love the idea of keeping them in order by date. You are making me want to get chickens!! I’m afraid my old farm dog will think I’m bringing in chicken nuggets that move..
