This is my beautiful grand daughter, Hailie Jade.   She is here visiting me for 2 weeks, woohoo!   We’ve already made a fresh strawberry pie this morning from scratch and  Hailie Jade  learned how to do a fluted edge to a pie.  This is her first attempt.  I’m so proud!

    Isn’t it fun having a granddaughter to spend time with and do girl things. I loved it when mine would come – she started making grandpa’s eggs for breakfast when she was three. Now 13 she is quite a wonderful cook. Hailie, you did a good job picking a great’ blog candy’. Your pie looks so yummy!!
