Stamper’s Lamp

Hello There,

I just want to share a little project that has been sitting on the back burner for some time.

When I was touring the Stampin’ Up! facility in Kanab, Utah last September, I spotted a fillable lamp that was in their showroom.  It was beautifully filled with stamps and I wanted to pick it up and carry it out, but since I would have been tackled at the door, I created my own version for my own home.

I purchased the fillable lamp from Amazon.com.  The bottom of the lamp has a wing nut you unscrew and the lamp comes apart.  I filled mine with some retired, yet beautiful, Stampin’ Up! stamps.   How fun it that!

Well that is one item off my to do list.  Now on to the next.. . . . . . .

How many projects do you have on your list?  Come on and spill it, make me feel better!

Hope you are have an outstanding weekend.

Until my next post. . . . . . .  .

Huge Hugs!

I have MANY projects on the back burner — in fact, I have brought items to make a project and then totally forgotten what I was going to do with them!!! I also have projects that I bought at a convention and then only remember them when I go back to the next year’s convention and see them again!!! Yikes! LOVE THE LAMP! I have no idea how you ever chose what stamps to put in the lamp though!

Oh Michelle, if you would have been stopped at the door, you could have said you thought this was one of the “perks” at the convention???..LOL!! I love the idea, I’ve seen this lamps at my local Hobby Lobby. Hmmm..I would have to think what to fill them with, maybe shells my grandkids have given me from all our trips to Panama City, FL. with them.
One of my projects is to pain my craft room, but that will have to wait till the weather gets nicer, so I can open the windows to ventilate.
Thank you for the inspiration, as always.

Maria, I think you were right the first time. Painting is a pain. I have a room that needs to be pained too. 🙂
I have a quilting project hanging over my head; a friend gave me a pattern and has asked a few times when I am going to show her the finished project. Now that is pressure! Wish it were an unfilled lamp or an unpained room! 🙂

Very cool lamp! I’m a messy crafter who has too much out at one time. I am forever “gonna” put things away when I’m done, but I don’t. I guess my big project is to get EVERYTHING put away. I am also trying to reconfigure my kitchen space to accommodate a small, two-seat table and chairs. Keep on keeping, Michelle. Eventually, you’ll “get ‘er done.” Hee! 🙂

Lately, my biggest project has been to get my crafting room under control. Now that it’s about finished, I can get the other 97,000 projects wrapped up! LOL Love the lamp, I have some stamp blocks that I unmounted but were too kewl to get rid of. Might find something to do with them afterall. Thanks!!
