Ahhh, Autumn!

Yesterday was fun filled!  We traveled on a 6 hour round trip to pick up my grand daughter, Hailie Jade.  Every second in the car was well worth it!

After the long car ride we all needed to stretch our legs so we decided to do what is popular around these parts and that is to go enjoy a corn maze.  But first when we arrived we had to pick out the most perfect pumpkin and I think Hailie Jade found it.

Here is my son Mitchell, Hailie Jade and Russ at the start of the corn maze.  What is a corn maze you ask?  You must not be from these parts.  A corn maze is a corn field that has a maze cut through it so there are paths.  It is done in a way that it is very easy to get turned around and lost forever, lol.  This maze is 3.5 miles long.  It can be 9 miles or longer if you get lost and keep back tracking.  🙂

Here is my daughter n law, Jamie and of course our 3 month old grand daughter, Aubree.  The paths in the corn maze are wide enough for strollers.  Fun for the entire family.  🙂

We all found out our navigation skills are terrible.

After getting lost a few times our family made it through.  My Husband, Russ was the most excited to finish, lol.  We all loved it!

It was the perfect Autumn day, 70 degrees and sunshine.

We got to select our pumpkins from huge pumpkin mounds of every shape, color and size.

    Oh Michelle, this is just to much fun, the pictures really show it. There are a couple of great corn mazes up here near Crown Point, IN. and also a bunch of pumpkin patches that we can’t wait to take our grandkids to. I love the picture of your hubby ”riding” that tractor, LOL!! Hailie Jade is beautiful and has grown so much, I remember when you shared pictures of her when she was little Aubree’s age.

    I can’t believe how big, and pretty, Hallie has become. It doesn’t seem like I’ve been following you that long! Enjoy your pieces of artwork and updates on the chickens and your family and I marvel at how much work you accomplish – canning! for example. Wow
