Under the Sea – Stampin’ Up! Card

DSC_0040

Hello there,

This has been such an interesting week so far for me.  Yesterday this happened. . . . .

17418_10204442982690181_4376339700377403732_n

Yep, that’s my new Iphone  **#@$#@ !  And YES I did cuss just a bit (okay a lot) when I realized that while racking up and burning leaves yesterday my cell phone dropped out of my jacket pocket and into the fire.  I didn’t realize it for a while until I wanted to take a picture of girls (hens) helping me in the garden.  Thank goodness I had insurance on it and I am getting a replacement for the price of the deductible. But in the mean time I feel a bit helpless without it.  Just know for the next couple of days to reach me you will need to e-mail me or text me.

Now about today’s project, I needed to create something serene, to bring some peace back into my life.   Although it will be more quite around here without my phone ringing, lol.

I created the background on this piece so don’t think it is Designer Series Paper and ask me what pack it is in, lol.  I also added some Basic Pearls to this project which work great as bubbles.

I’ll show you how it was all done in today’s tutorial.

You can find the complete supply list below for today’s project and also how to the get the complete tutorial for this project free or by purchase below.

  1. Oh my goodness Michelle, I totally understand how incredibly infuriating this must have been for you. I similar thing happened last year but with water. We took our grandkids to the pool in the club house and, when we were getting settled in our chairs I took my phone out of my jeans pocket and put it inside my bathing suit top with the firm thought that I was going to put it in the bag for safe keeping. Well, we got busy putting sun screen on the kids and I just plain forgot so, you guess it, I jump in the pool with my phone in my chest and starting splashing around with the kids until my little granddaughter Olivia said to me: “Grammy, your phone is in your bathing suit”, Oh my word, I immediately got out of the pool but it was to late, the thing was ruined. It got replaced but now, I will put it in my bag as soon as we get near water, LOL!!
I hope you get your new phone soon, I’m really anxious to see your beautiful feathered friends enjoying a day outdoors.

  4. Thank you ladies for your sympathy. 🙂 I’m feel so lost without my phone. What did we do before cell phones arrived on the scene. Pagers, pay phones, party lines, lol.
