How about a little or I should say a lot of texture in my project today.  Texture in the way of using embossing folders can really take your project from good to WOW.  Also add a bit of ink to accent the embossing and it steps the project up again.

As you have probably notice you may not have been getting my blog updates for a while.  I switched e-mail subscription providers and to say the least it has been very trying.  I thought I had lost you all in the switch over.  Feedblitz is working on the problem and I am at their mercy.   Software issues are the worst!

Anyhow, they think they may have gotten it fixed so this updates is also being sent as a test to see if things are better.  I hope you all get it.  My fingers, toes and eyes are crossed for luck.

Blowing in the Wind – Stampin’ Up! Card

Hello There,

I’ve spent the last two days working like a dog in my yard pulling weeds.  I don’t use weed killer because I grow food for us to eat and I don’t want to be eating weed killer.  So, instead of paying health spa dues I just head out in my yard for exercise.  It’s a win, win, no chemicals in my veggies and exercise to boot.  But. . . . . this morning every part of my body hurts.  This will be the case for a couple of weeks until my body gets in garden mode after a long, long Winter without exercise.  Yep, I’ve been a slug all Winter.

So today’s project is a reflection of just how all those weeds ended up in my yard.  Instead of cussing about it, I decided to make something beautiful about the subject instead.  I’m staying positive.   I hope you like it.

Hello There,

I returned home from my trip on Sunday evening and was greeted by two boxes of BRAND NEW STAMPIN’ UP! PRODUCTS!  The products won’t be available to the general public until June 2nd, when the new annual catalog comes out.  Let me say one thing, you are going to flip out when you see it.

One of the main things I am excited about are the new In Colors, LOVE THEM!  I used one of them today in my project, Lost Lagoon.  Just make a note that you will want everyone of the new colors.  🙂

On Vacation. . . . . .

It’s vacation time for my hubby and I, whoohoo!!!!

We are off on our Stampin’ Up! all expense paid cruise to the Western Caribbean.  Thank you to Stampin’ Up!, my fabulous Down Line and most of all to my Rockin’ Customers.  Without you this trip would not be possible.

I will be off the grid, not even taking a computer off the grid, yikes!  So I will not be able to send out tutorials etc. until I return on May 12th.   You can’t blame a girl, right?  So hang tight my stamping buddies.  You will be well taken care of upon my return.  🙂
