Are you always in need of manly cards?  I know I am and what’s more manly than a big brown bear, a big fish and some great plaid from the Let’s Go Fishing Designer Series Paper Pack.

I created this card with a window sheet for an easy way to get depth in your scene.  The background is created on a panel inside of the card and then you add your foreground items (bear) on the window sheet.  So simple and it makes for a WoW card.  

The Wildlife Wonder stamp set is a fabulous set to create those manly cards with.  It’s a no brainer for your collection.

Hello Stampers,

Do fish frolic? If so, I believe the fish in today’s card scene are frolicking in the sunlight. I’m showing a different way to use the Beauty of the Deep stamp set today by stamping the fish in a spiral instead of them just swimming across the card front. Also, I used the coral images to encircle the fish and then carried them onto the background panel to continue the scene, no designer series paper necessary. The images are stunning and I cannot get enough of them!

Hello Stampers,

Again, I’m asking you to take another look at your stamps. This time let’s look at the Wildlife Wonder stamp set from Stampin’ Up!

For my scene today I used just part of the Owl image and omitted the post it is sitting on.  I decided he would like to hang out on a crescent moon created with the 2 3/8″ circle punch.  He looks very happy there, plus we are adding value to our stamps by using them in a different way, right?   Think of all the scenes you can create by placing the owl on another object.

Hello Stampers,

I’m back from the stunningly beautiful Country of Norway.    The Stampin’ Up! trip was full of beautiful sites and wonderful fun filled times with fellow demonstrators/friends.  Here are a few pics from the Norway Fjords, it was chilly but unbelievable in their beauty.  Pictures do not do them justice at all.  I was really trying to be in the moment and not take too many pictures.  Sometimes you just need to breathe in a place, you know.

 

So, as always, I thank you and I appreciate each and every one of you for your loyalty and friendship. Without you I could not have possibly enjoyed such an adventure. YOU’RE THE VERY BEST!
