Hello Stampers,

I’m finding some fun ways to use the Gnomes in the new Kindest Gnomes stamp set by Stampin’ Up!  Today I teamed one of those cute, cute gnomes up with the beautiful Soft Seedlings stamp set for this Autumn Leaf Peeping card.   Leaf peeping you ask?  Yep, in the northern United States each year we call the time when the Autumn leaves have turned lovely shades of yellow, orange and red, leaf peeping season.    So, I’ve decided to have my gnome for today actually peeping from the leaves, lol.

Bewitching – Stampin’ Up! Card

Hello Stampers,

I’m combining two wonderful Stampin’ Up! Autumn stamp sets for my card project today.  I’m using the Bewitching stamp set and the Hello Harvest stamp set.   I found the pumpkin in the Hello Harvest stamp set to be the perfect size for my witch to stand on.  Add some great Autumn colors and you have a delightful none scary witch card.

Heartfelt Watercolor Card

Hello Stampers,

Did you know that July is World Watercolor month?  I’m celebrating it with this little dragonfly card where I used my Stampin’ Up! inks and water painter to create this loose watercolor look on today’s card.  Although it is not showing up in the photo,  POO, I used Clear Wink of Stella on the wings and sentiment for a bit of shimmer.  Just close your eyes and imagine sparkle, lol.  In real life it is wonderful!  When isn’t sparkle wonderful, right?

The use of watercolor paper and water really help give you the watercolor look in this project even though I’m using ink.  Just let the color go freely where it wants to go for that loose watercolor look.

Soft Seedlings Card

Hello Stampers,

I’m playing with the brand new Soft Seedlings stamp set today and showing you how to use just a portion of one of the images in the stamp set in an out of the box way.

Hello Stampers,

Join me in creating this quick and simple beach card using a couple of stamps from the brand new Trees For Sale stamp set.  I’m not quite ready to start my Christmas cards with his stamp set so, I decided to take the little dog and his foot prints and put them on a quick direct to paper beach.  I do believe he is very happy here, lol.

Gathered Wheat from Stampin’ Up!

Hello Stampers,

Today I used and image of one stalk of wheat from the new Gathered Wheat stamp set from Stampin’ Up! and created the illusion of a whole wheat field blowing in the wind.  I love when you can get away with this sort of scene and don’t need to stamp a whole field out.

Wildflower Path from Stampin’ Up!

Hello Stampers,

So many times we are in need of a peaceful/tranquil card to send to someone.  It could be a thinking of you, get well, sympathy or many other reasons.  Well, I have such a card for you today, complete with the video below that will walk you through, step by step to make it.  But first, let’s talk about the great stamp set used to create it, it’s the Stampin’ Up! Wildflower Path stamp set.  This stamp set is awesome for scenes where you want some great foliage/grasses in the foreground, which is almost every scene, right?

Apple Harvest from Stampin’ Up!

Hello Stampers,

Got fruit?  Rubber stamp fruit that is. . . .   I think we all have some fruit in our stash of stamps, check out the new Apple Harvest stamp set from Stampin’ Up!   It’s so pretty and the images are a nice large size too.  Great for coloring.

I’ve found fruit images to be perfect for non-occasion note cards.  You can dress them up to look like a piece of still life art simply by creating a quick and easy plastic wrap background.  Check out my video below for the step by step tutorial for this card.

I know it is only July, but I have my hands on the brand new Scary Cute stamps and dies bundle from Stampin’ Up! that you can find in the new July-December Mini Catalog (aka Holiday catalog).  October is just around the corner, it comes faster every year, right?  I thought it might be nice if I start giving you some Autumn card ideas so, you can make your supply lists.

Miss Poppy Gnome Card

Hello Stampers,

Have you picked up the Kindest Gnomes stamp set yet?  It’s brand new in the just released July-December Stampin’ Up! Mini Catalog.  This set is so darned cute!  I’m envisioning these gnomes in many a card scene in the next few months but, here is my first one.  I just had to use the girl gnome and since, she is a girl, I wanted to surround her in bright flowers from the Painted Poppies stamp set.
