Check it out, you can make any of your lovely little stamped scenes into a puzzle with this stamp set and coordinating dies.  This just made me want to squeal when I first laid eyes on it!

For my project today I teamed the bundle up with the Seize the Day stamp set.

Just think of all the possibilities for making puzzles out of your artwork, like creating a message and then making it a puzzle so the recipient needs to put it together to see the message.  LOL, I know a couple of people who would want to kill me for that but, then I know a lot of people who would love it.

I created today’s card for my Hubby, Russ for our 28th anniversary tomorrow.  Nothing like waiting until the last minute to make a card.  🙂  I kept the layering panels manly browns and black to not to distract from the puzzle.  I hope you are inspired!

I was watching two of my grand daughters, Riley and Aubree this morning and we put the ever lovable children’s show, Sesame Street on for a bit and now I cannot get the theme song out of my head.  So, I put it to good use, I created this Sunny Day card.  Looks like a great field of dandelions to run through.  This sunny card with it’s bright colors can certainly brighten someone’s day and sweep the clouds away.  🙂  What a great way to get inspiration!

Hello there,

I pulled out a couple of pieces of plastic wrap to use in the making of this project today.  The plastic wrap technique gives such a painterly look.  I just knew the Koi Fish from the Stampin’ Up! All the Good Things set would work so well with the technique giving them that under water look.  Also, giving each fish a shadow helps with the look of a shallow pool.  🙂  What a fun project!

I created a baby congratulations card today with a tropical flair.  I purposely used both pink and blue in the scene with the dominating color being green so it can be used for either a boy or girl.

To make this card I teamed up two stamp sets, Precious Delivery and Petal Palette.  To bring in the tropical look I used a panel of Designer Series Paper from the Tropical Escape Pack.  What a fun take on a baby card, right?

Hello there,

It’s strange the things that can inspire a card.  My card today was inspired by my  own beehives.  Yep, that’s right, I’m a beekeeper.  🙂

Inside those hives are frames which my bees store their honey, nectar, pollen and bee larva.  What I’ve found is the pollen they store is so very pretty in the frames.  It looks like jewels.

Wild About You

Hello there,

I hope this post finds you having a wonderful day, possibly getting inky maybe.  🙂

In the past I didn’t create a whole lot of cards for children, but now that I have 3 grand daughters I find I’m making them quite often.  My favorite ones to create are cards I can just send to them willy nilly for no reason what so ever.  I especially love to put happy mail out to Aubree, who is 4.  She loves to get mail and gets so excited about grandma’s cards.  She keeps them on the night stand next to her bed, so cute.

Aubree will get this Wild About You card this week.  I’ll be heading out on the Stampin’ Up! Alaska cruise in a few days and I just want her to know I am thinking of her while I a gone.

 

 

 

Screen Shot 2018-07-14 at 11.04.54 AMOur oldest grand daughter, Hailie Jade, who is now 14, is going on the cruise with us.  It is her first cruise and she is so excited. I have been getting daily texting from her saying “So Excited”. Grandpa and I are wondering how she will survive without her cell phone for 10 days, Lord help us.

As for our adorable third grand daughter, Riley, who just turned 1.  She  isn’t quite ready to receive mail, everything still goes straight to her mouth since she is teething, lol.  Man I love her

 

 

 

Now about today’s project, since it is a card for a child I kept the colors for this creation very bright to make it oh so cheerful.   Just look, I broke out the new Stampin’ Up! This is a fun project for you today.  This card has it all, night, day and it is an eclipse card as well.  The eclipse is the technique used to make the sentiment stand out in the card, not the moon going in front of the sun.  Thought I better clear that up.  🙂
