Hello there,

Today’s card shows off this flamingo in front of a super fun to make smooshed ink background.  Somebody please stop me!  I want to sit here for hours and just play with different color combos on the background alone, like I said super fun and quick technique.

This background just screamed to have black and gray images stamped on it to really set it off so I used the images from the Fabulous Flamingo stamp set.  What do you think?

Hello there,

This is one of those cards you can use for so very many occasions, so why not make a few at one setting?  It certainly is one of my quicker creations and it was made with the ever versatile Flourishing Phrases Stamp set that has so many sentiments in it.  I left it blank for now and will stamp it when I know what occasion I want to use it for.  🙂  I’m sure it will get me out of one of those binds when I need to get a card out quick!

Oh yea!  I found another use for one of the stamps in the Stampin’ Up! Colorful Seasons stamp set.  The little branch stamp certainly makes a great frame for a scene, plus there are all of these little flowers, leaves and snowflake stamps in the set to take you through the seasons with this technique.  My mind is just spinning with ideas for using them.

Yellow Bush – Stampin’ Up! Card

Awe yellow. . . . . . Adding an abundance of yellow to a card makes me feel like I’m sending sunshine in an envelope.  No other color gives me quite that warm feeling.  🙂

Today’s card was created by using the branch stamp in the Colorful Seasons stamp set in an unexpected way.  Just by changing the direction of branch and adding the flower stamp gives the look of a flowering bush, I like it!

Sweet Elephant – Stampin’ Up! Card

OOOhhhh! I love the color combo I used today (Lemon Lime Twist, Pumpkin Pie, Cherry Cobbler and Early Espresso).  So vibrant!  Those colors certain bring the scene on this card to life.

The elephant has such a calm look on it’s face.  🙂 So Zen!

I was half tempted to use the back view of this elephant instead and then I could have written on the inside of the card “I’m a little BEHIND in sending this card.” lol  Perfect for the a belated birthday.

 I pulled the card together by embellishing the card front with a few of the Eastern Gold Vinyl Stickers.  I’m usually not a fan of stickers but these sturdy gold stickers add a lovely richness to the project.
