This is one of those cards you can use for so very many occasions, so why not make a few at one setting?  It certainly is one of my quicker creations and it was made with the ever versatile Flourishing Phrases Stamp set that has so many sentiments in it.  I left it blank for now and will stamp it when I know what occasion I want to use it for.  🙂  I’m sure it will get me out of one of those binds when I need to get a card out quick!

Framed Mountains – Stampin’ Up! Card

Oh yea!  I found another use for one of the stamps in the Stampin’ Up! Colorful Seasons stamp set.  The little branch stamp certainly makes a great frame for a scene, plus there are all of these little flowers, leaves and snowflake stamps in the set to take you through the seasons with this technique.  My mind is just spinning with ideas for using them.

Magical Dragonfly Evening – Stampin’ Up! Card

Alright stampers, question, how do you go about selecting the color of your card stock panels?  One thing I’ve found is keeping your color palette to a few colors is much more calming.  Repeating the same color that you have made your main image in your scene in your panels really makes that image pop.

I also love framing my scenes in a neutral dark color this brings the viewers eye into the scene.  Anyhow, that is how I pick my layout panels.  I would love to hear your tips, please share them in the comments below.  🙂
