Katzelkraft Bird in Water – Tutorial #152 And New Blog Candy!

dsc06941.JPG

Well hello there everyone!  I’ve been away tooooo long from my stamping room.  A lot has been going on with holiday preparation.

For the Thanksgiving Holiday my small family gets together at our house for the feast.  I still have half of the feast in the frig that needs eaten.  (Just slap it on my thighs, that’s where it is going anyway, lol)    We are not fancy people, this is my table setting for the occasion.  🙂

dsc06906.JPG  dsc06908.JPG

I have to show you the two beast that were underfoot in the kitchen the whole day.  These two both weigh over 100 lbs each.  Abby the Lab and Lucas the German Short Haired Pointer/Great Dane mix.  Both of these babies came from a local shelter after our beloved German Shepherd passed about 5 years ago.   I encourage everyone to adopt their pets and spay and neuter them.  🙂  Sorry, had to throw that in there, it’s too important.

Yesterday was spent, CHRISTMAS SHOPPING!!!!!  After Shopping we started putting up the Christmas lights on the outside of the house.  This is the progress we made before dark.  I then completely passed out on the couch, lol.  I hope those who celebrate Thanksgiving had one filled with the love and Joy of Family and Friends.

Sure would like to learn how to use the brayer technique. Not unless you come to Everett, WA can I learn. Have any future openings? Or is there a lesson on your web site?

You are always an inspiration to me. Your cards make me want to drop whatever I am doing and tryp to duplicate them. I would love to win the bird stamps. They would be a refreshing change from the numerous flower stamps I currently have.

Keep sharing your beautiful creations with us and have a Merry Christmas.

Love your cards – so classy without the frills. It has actually made me go back to using a brayer and stamp positioner. Thanks for stirring the stamping pot to get us using things we already own.

Michelle – thank you for sharing your beautiful cards and techniques with all of us. Today is my 78th birthday and opening your tutorial was a lovely gift. I have been teaching stamping at a senior center and also working with a church group. Love doing it but your cards and methods will take it to a whole new level. This is the first time I have attempted blogging so again you have opened a new door. Many happy thoughts to you.

Love the birds – over here in the North of Germany it´s getting cold enough meanwhile to feed them – we have to set up a new birdhouse because the old one got
carried away bit by bit by insects to build their homes….
thanks for just another terrific tutorial !
