Stamped Clock on a 4″ square piece of Whisper White card stock by first loading my stamp with Versamark and then with Basic Black ink before stamping it.

dsc09888.JPG

Heat embossed the image using clear embossing powder and a heat gun.

dsc09889.JPG

Masked the bottom of the card stock with a post it note and flipped it upside down and brayered Apricot Appeal ink on the card stock.

dsc09890.JPG

Flipped the card stock right side up and Brayered on Bashful Blue ink.

dsc09891.JPG

Brayered Not Quite Navy ink on the card stock, not covering the Bashful Blue up entirely.

dsc09892.JPG

Brayered Dusty Durango ink on the Apricot Appeal ink, not covering it entirely.

dsc09893.JPG

Took the old Post it note mask off and put a new one on to cover the sky area.  Sponged Old Olive ink on the unmasked area.

dsc09894.JPG

Sponged Always Artichoke ink on the right hand side of the card stock.

dsc09895.JPG

Sponged Basic Black ink on the Right side of the card stock, not covering the Always Artichoke ink up entirely.

dsc09896.JPG

Stamped the tree by first loading the stamp with Old Olive ink.  Then added Always Artichoke ink to one side of the tree leaves and Basic Black ink to the trunk before stamping it.

dsc09897.JPG

Sponged Basic Black ink all the way around the card stock edge and under the tree to create a shadow.

dsc09898.JPG

Stamped the gears twice with Basic Black ink.

dsc09899.JPG

Added White Gel pen hightlights to the tree and a few dots in the grassy area.

dsc09900.JPG

Layered the main image panel with a Dusty Durango Panel, Bashful Blue Panel and Basic Black Panel.  Stamped the top of the tree at the bottom of the Black panel with White Craft (Pigment) ink.

dsc09901.JPG

Added Sakura Souffle pens in Orange and light blue to some of the leaves.

dsc09902.JPG

dsc09903.JPG

Added another Bashful Blue Panel and Basic Black panel.  Here it is finished measuring 5″ x 6.5″.

dsc09911.JPG

May we all slow down for a moment today and just enjoy life.

Until my next post. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .

Huge Hugs,

Michelle

  1. Good Morning Michelle. What a precious grand daughter you have. Yes time just flies and I sometimes wish for just 10 minutes of having my kids back as babies again. But just for 10 minutes!!!lol Okay I wasn’t sure what I would do with “Sense of Time” until now. You are truly amazing and very gifted.

What a lovely little girl. She looks so pleased with her cake. The older I get the quicker time flies so enjoy each other’s company while you can.

I have never seen bluer eyes on a 6 year old before. She is a living doll………no wonder Grandma tears up!!! Cake looks good too! Thank you for sharing yet another example of how to mix and match stamps! I think it would have taken me ages to come up with something near as pretty as this!
