Hey Everyone, please keep my husband, Russ in your thoughts on Monday, August 9th.  He will be undergoing a  procedure where the doc puts him out, stops his golden heart and shocks it into the correct rhythm.   This procedure works on about 80% of the people that it is done on.  Let’s just hope it works and he comes out of it safe and sound.

    Hi Michelle – Mum has had it done twice and she is in her eighties. Her heart seems to go out if she has a bad infection or something that knocks her medication off its normal pattern. Both times she has had the procedure it did the trick. It did go out again recently but they used medication that time to encourage it back and it worked! I think you will find Russ is tired afterwards but that seems to be the only side effect. Take care love Janine

    If it comforts you at all, my Dad had this procedure done in May and he’s doing fantastic and hasn’t had one episode since. Sending you the Hubbie peace of mind and a quick recovery. With you in thoughts and prayers today *Ü*

    You and Russ are in my prayers. Will picture God holding Russ’s heart in those minutes in between. After all he holds us all in his hands so why not our hearts as well. 😀 Take care and may you both find a way to peace in a trying time.

    I’ll keep you in my thoughts and prayers.
    My husband and I have a friend that has had to have this done twice. It takes just seconds and she’s as good as new! I’m sure Russ will be too!!
