Brayered Marina Mist ink at the bottom of a 3″ x 6.5″ piece of Whisper White card stock.

Brayered Perfect Plum ink at the top of the card stock.

Using the edge of a Basic Gray Stamp pad, smeared ink across the bottom of the card stock.

Ink the bird only on the Silhouette Sentiments stamp using a Basic Black marker and stamped it in the sky area.

Added a 1/4″ wide piece of Basic Black card stock and cut one end of it at an angle.  Then cut it to be 1″ long.

Added legs to the bird using a Basic Black marker.

Added White Gel pen dots across the water.

Using the corner of a Whisper White Craft pad, smeared a bit in the sky for clouds.

Used a Stamp-a-ma-jig for placement of my sentiment.  Stamped it in Basic Black ink.

Added a 4″ x 9″ Basic Black panel, 3.5″ x 8.5″ panel of Basic Gray, 3.25″ x 6″ panel of Marina Mist and a 1.5″ x 8.5″ panel of Perfect Plum.

Added a Karen Barber inspired bow of Whisper White Organza Ribbon, lol.  She will be so proud of me, ROTFLMAO

Added a 3 1/8″ x 6 5/8″ panel of Basic Black and my Main image panel.  Also added 4 silver brads to the corners of the main image panel.

Here is my finished card measuring 4″ x 9″.  This size card fits nicely in a #10 office envelope.

I hope you enjoyed this project and give it a try today.

May you be at total peace today.

Until my next post. . . .  . .

Hugs!

Michelle

I love this card. It is so soothing, and I fully intend to give it a try. How do you do it? You are like the energizer bunny…………….you just keep going and going and going. So glad to have been in two of your workshops. I wish for more. I learned a lot, but the best part was meeting you, Michelle. It was a REAL pleasure and a joy to see how truly lovely you are inside and outside. Stay well, and thank you again for all you share.

Just finished the tutorial – I’ve only had your beginner’s workshop, but it was easy to do! Really different colors, too. Love the way the white gel pen “makes” the little waves – I’d been trying to figure out how to get that effect. Thank you!
You do so many things so well!!!

Wow! Beautiful card!! And the bow is a nice touch. I see so many people who are crazy for bows on their cards. And some of them are really wonderful… so I buy ribbon… a lot of ribbon… but so far I have not put a bow on a card! LOL!! I had not really thought about the fact that until today I don’t think I’ve ever seen a bow on one of your cards. Just goes to show that we all have our own style… your cards are so gorgeous they don’t have to have a bow… and when you do decide to put one on, it’s just an added touch… but your art work is still what makes the card so lovely.
