So, I’m out in the garden today harvesting and weeding and I came across this carrot.  When a carrot comes to a rock in the dirt it turns and grows a different direction.

When I harvested this carrot, I thought it is so like a women.  When we come to a hard place in our lives we gain our composure and go another direction.

I so hope you are having a terrific day with no hard spots.

Hey there,

This is my beautiful grand daughter, Hailie Jade.   She is here visiting me for 2 weeks, woohoo!   We’ve already made a fresh strawberry pie this morning from scratch and  Hailie Jade  learned how to do a fluted edge to a pie.  This is her first attempt.  I’m so proud!

Hey There,

Thought I would share a glimpse of my second Stampin’ Up! Annual Catalog order with you all.   I do this every year, seems some of you like to show your husbands my orders so it will make your orders look small.  So here it is!  As you can tell I found plenty of must haves.

This mountain just arrived late today and I won’t be able to play with these gems until Monday.  It’s just cruel!

I spend my Saturday mornings peddling my hand crafted cards and artisan soaps at the Eaton, Ohio Early Bird Farmer’s Market. Then on Sunday I get to pick my Grand Daughter up and we get to have her all to ourselves for 2 weeks.  I’m so excited.  She lives out state so it’s time Russ and I cherish.      I’m sure I will share pictures of our adventures together with you all.

Well I am off to bed since I need to rise early.  Have a fabulous weekend.
